7.5: CBD / Hemp

Updated: Aug 24

In the UK although no CBD products have been approved for use in dogs, many dog owners have found them to give truly incredible results in certain situations. Many vets will at times make the recommendation to use such products, and can discuss dosing and where to buy with their patients family members.

As a group, we cannot advise on dosing and whether or not you should use it, it must be your own personal decision, and must be discussed with your vet should you wish to explore this

Should pet parents wish to use CBD products in their dogs we strongly recommend:

  • A Vet check to ensure you are aware of any health issues, and discussing your choice to use CBD

For legality in the UK it must contain less than 1% THC meaning it is not possible to cause the “high” feeling to your dog.

CBD oil is believed to relieve symptoms of illness or injury such as inflammation, pain, joint stiffness, digestion, anxiety and much more!

Please always consult with a vet before using either CB or Hemp to ensure it is a suitable option for your dog.
